The wedding came and went. Ling ling and John are married, and everyone, the 2 of them most of all, seemed happy and pleased. When I planned the last trip, I intended to return to Europe for the wedding. I can't believe that it had all came and passed now. Very very soon, I will be on the road once more.

Tuscany is very beautiful. But Italy is after all, a developed nation, and the landscape is disrupted by cables, highways and occasional man made structure. It is pretty but it pales so much to what I have seen in South America so far. Yet modernity has its benefits too. The trains and infrastructure are well developed and one does not need to spend too much time battling the public transport.

There is a wave of depression overcoming me these days. I cannot explain why. In theory I ought to be pleased to be back to a familiar environment but I feel so tired, so alone, so afraid of what is about to happen next. But I am fighting hard from indulging in melanchony.
